Totally understood - and to be fair I've always been vocally supportive of what Zoltan does, as well as frequently acknowledging the difficult position he and PMs are obviously placed in.
Precisely what needs to be improved - not the PM's fault - but the cases you mention, where a universal UI change impacts many millions of users as you say, the process for developing, testing, validating, iterating and then finally load-testing and releasing, should be a clearly defined and timetabled process. And we need to be able to see at a glance where a release is within the schedule.
Criticism is of the *system* the PMs are being asked to work within! Which simply has to improve!

Friends and colleagues,
Being a PM at Genesys does not mean you have the final say when product will be released in production - they is in the hands of security and reliability teams. Some PMs that release product from development may get fast tracked because the feature may only affect a few thousand users across only a few ORGs initially like the WFM Opportunities and the reliability is not really in question. Zoltan has a feature or update that affects EVERY user in EVERY ORG in ALL regions - over 8000 customers and nearly 3 million users. That requires much more scrutiny and final load testing because once it is out there, it could cause terrible consequences if not fully vetted.
So, please don't be too hard on Zoltan as he has provided regular updates and responses to questions in a very proactive manner and I am sure he wants this release off his plate as much as you all want it in your hands.
Robert

Hi Gus,
Thank you for raising these concerns. I understand the frustration, especially given the previous schedule changes and the need to communicate confidently with your business stakeholders.
Regarding the rollout, the latest information we have is that the feature remains scheduled for release beginning the week of June 15, following the standard regional deployment process. As with all cloud releases, deployment timing can vary by region, and updates are performed outside of business hours. Users will generally only notice the change after signing out and back in, or after refreshing their client session.
I also want to clarify that while I have been sharing anticipated rollout timing based on the latest deployment plans available to me, the authoritative source for release information remains the Genesys Resource Center, including its announcements and release notes. Release schedules can occasionally change due to broader platform considerations, and unfortunately we experienced at least one such situation during earlier deployment attempts.
Your feedback regarding release communications and the need for a single, consistently updated source of truth for significant user experience changes is heard and appreciated. Changes that impact the entire user population naturally require additional planning and communication from customers, and I understand why timely and reliable updates are so important.
Based on what we know today, customers should continue to plan for rollout starting next week. Should there be any changes to that schedule, they will be reflected through the standard release communication channels.
Regards,
Zoltan

@Zoltan Juricskay Hi, there is no replies or confirmation when the GA date is for this change, none of the messages this week are being replied to.
And there is NO available information on the announcement page to confirm if this is still scheduled for wc 15th June, and no Aha idea associated (I don't have access to Jira).
Once again request can there PLEASE be one single source of reliable up to date information re: upcoming releases and - again - this is particularly crucial where universal UI changes are being rolled out that will affect 100% of user base (there needs to be a dedicated process for universal changes - but this is still not happening).
Cannot wait any longer than today to issue updated comms to our business that this latest change will land next week.....having already back-tracked on the original planned release date.
Will be issuing comms today and really REALLY hope that Genesys don't pull the rug out from under us again at the last moment.
Everybody on here is asking for this process to improve. Sadly, if anything it feels like it's going in the opposite direction.

Hi Judy,
No, the current tentative GA date is June 15.
Please note that official GA dates are communicated through Jira, Aha!, and Resource Center announcements. While I do my best to keep the community informed, this forum should not be considered the official source for release announcements.

Hi Kevin and Team,
Yes, that is correct. Engineering is currently focused on stabilizing the client deployment that was rolled back due to an unrelated issue. Given the need to prioritize and complete this work properly, I decided to allow the team a minimum of two additional weeks before resuming the release activities.
At this point, the tentative GA target date is June 8 but I'll send a confimration post when that gets accepted. We will continue to keep you updated on progress and communicate any changes as early as possible.

Zoltan

Hi Zoltan,
Can you confirm if this means next weeks planned release is not happening and that there's no new release date? Thanks.

Hi,
We would like to provide an additional update regarding the release timeline for this feature.
Genesys had to cancel the planned release due to an unrelated rollback of a client software deployment. As product quality remains our highest priority, we must postpone the release of this feature until the client software quality has been fully validated through additional quality assurance activities.
As previously communicated, the release timeline had already been adjusted due to issues identified in an unrelated area to ensure the overall release meets our quality standards.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.
Kind regards,
Zoltan

@Zoltan Juricskay, we're trying to time our communication to our agents about this upcoming change. Is the release still planned for the week of May 25? If it's still tentative, what is the cutoff time for the go/no-go decision for next week?

Hi Judy and Team,
To my understanding, there was a rollback of the latest frontend release during the weekend. This is unrelated to the User Menu changes and appears to be an unfortunate coincidence.
Genesys is currently working on restoring the earlier cadence and stability of client releases. As a result, the GA date for the User Menu accessibility improvement feature remains tentative at this time and may experience some delay depending on release readiness and validation activities.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while the teams work through the rollout process.

@Zoltan Juricskay
We appreciate the updates on the release dates. This is now at least the third or fourth change in release dates. Our customer has updated their user documentation so agents are ready when the update is released. We have had to tell our customer multiple times now that this is delayed again and that they will not see the change on the dates announced.
The perception battle that we are dealing with is that Genesys does not adequately test before announcing releases and that Genesys does not know what they are doing when it comes to software releases and quality control. What is the confidence level that the May 25 date is actually going to stay?
