  • 1.  Regarding Documentation of complete CI/CD setup

    Posted 05-26-2026 09:04

    Hi Team,

I am looking for a complete build document for CI/CD pipeline creation and the approach would be with terraform, github actions and Archy for GC objects & flow movement from dev->qa->uat->prod. I need to build from scratch and thus looking for some build doc/best practice doc available within our community members, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

There is no definitive guide on how to do this unfortunately. We did this a couple years ago ourselves, same workflow as you but learnt as we went along.

I would say look at the documentation in the Developer Center
    https://developer.genesys.cloud/devapps/cx-as-code/

Also @Lucas Woodward created a great article on CX as Code.

But happy to answer any questions you have.

Also take a look at this thread.

Thanks Savino for your reply, i checked few of them and started on the activity. Do we have any best practices document/suggestions shared by Genesys on the multi-org setup and how orgs to be taken into consideration for about ~900/1000 production agents. We are a bit confused on these two- (Dev->QA->UAT->Prod) or (Dev->UAT->Prod).

I any best practice docs available that would be helpful. Thanks

    Highly recommend this article: https://makingchatbots.com/p/cx-as-code-with-genesys-cloud

And as well as that, understand your Terraform folder structure - once you build one Org within CX as Code, its pretty straight forward to use the foundational code as a blueprint for every other org, using terraform environment variables

Thank you, Tom, for your response, will again go through the article mentioned and try to build different orgs.

    Hey Piyush,

I'm the author of the CX as Code with Genesys Cloud article people have pointed you to, which I wrote off the back of the community discussion that has also been linked to.

I'm currently in the process of writing a second CX as Code article, which builds on the first to demonstrate the automation of CX as Code too.

If you have any specific questions then I'd be more than happy to try and answer them.
