    Hi

I saw yesterday in the release notes:
    January 27, 2021
    Communicate
Make and receive WebRTC calls on iPhones

    ==> in EMEA-Dublin, I don't see follow requirements:

To use Communicate for iOS, you must have the following:

    • A WebRTC phone, assigned as your default phone

    And the following permissions:

    • Conversation > Call > Add
    • Conversation > Call > Record
    • Conversation > Call Forwarding > Edit
    • Conversation > Conference > Add
    • Conversation > One Number Fax > Receive
    • Mobile Communicate > Mobile Communicate > Access
    • Voicemail > Voicemail > Receive
How can I add that permission?

    Kind Regards

    Niels

We have the same issue with the missing permission in US East and US West orgs.

I sent a question to Documentation to check, but it looks like that permission requirement was removed. It just looks for Conversation > Call > Add

I get a permissions error when trying to login to the app on my iPhone.  I know originally the permission was only in orgs doing beta testing for the app.  Needing the permission does not seem to have gone away with GA.

Did you uninstall and reinstall the app?

I see indications that they had to re-release something to the App Store because the permission could not simply be updated in the back end.

I downloaded the App a couple days ago and have been able to log in.  I can make calls both in and out.   I do not have the permissions below available to me, but it appears they are not required anyways.

Interesting.  New phone, so I downloaded the app on GA day, tested, got permissions error.  Based on your suggestion, I deleted/re-installed and now it works like a champ!

Folks, WebRTC option is available using the Communicate IOS app not the Collaborate app..  When you attempt to select the WebRTC default phone using the Collaborate app you get an error that WebRTC is no supported..  I also notice with the Communicate app, it does not support Chat..  I wonder is there a specific permission that i have to update to enable Chat using the Communicate app, or at this point in time it is not supported and if you want to chat, to have to use the collaborate app..

Unfortunately it appears they are two separate Apps.  WebRTC for Communicate and Chat with Collaborate.
