The custom attributes exported this way has a delay on when it is available:

General rule of thumb is, wait 24 hours.
For anything more immediate you will need to grab those from the APIs.

Hello. When i am exporting the report with custom attribute box checked, i notice that participant data is not being extracted for all the calls. For e.g. i pulled all the calls from today in interaction view and in excel export i see participant data only for 2 calls. Any idea what could be happening ? or have you run into this? You can export it from the Performance > Workspace > Interactions, and tick the Include Custom Attributes box
This will give all the participant data for all the calls in that search, though you will need to use either formulas or transform data to separate them out in to separate columns. Otherwise you would need to look at pulling that data through the APIs into a database, and from there do your slicing and dicing
