Good Day Rajath
From what I could see on resource center, there is not a defined number of retires. I did however see the following mentioned for contactable time sets.
The only retry/call attempts I'm aware of is on the attempt control which is separate from this.

Subject: Reschedule Time zone skipped contacts - How many retries Genesys will attempt before it completely skips that number.
For a progressive, always running campaign, What happens if a contact is skipped from dialing out because of the contactable time set is enabled (M-F 8a-8p) and Reschedule Time zone skipped contacts is enabled.
As per documentation it says Genesys Cloud automatically reschedules time‑zone‑skipped records to the next appropriate callable window.
I wanted to understand till what day it keeps on retrying.
Example I have thousands of contacts with ININ-OUTBOUND-NOT-CALLABLE-TIME , Genesys will reschedule them to next day, On next day, by the time it reaches 30-40 contacts the time is 8p, again rest of them are skipped since it is coming under not callable time. Wanted to understand how many retries Genesys will attempt before it completely skips that number.
Wanted to highlight, in our scenario most of the contacts are being marked as Not callable on Saturdays only and they are never being retried, I can see that Timezone rescheduled calls are 0 in campaign diagnostics
