  • 1.  Restricting agents to see other other's status.

    Currently we have a requirement to restrict all agents from seeing other agent's status (on-queue, break, etc.,). I Couldn't find any permission or config in the system to restrict their view. Only supervisor and manager should have that view. Am I missing anything basic here. Need help to get this one sorted please.

    Hi Rizwan,

    From what I know, there is currently no native permission or toggle that completely hides other agents' presence/routing status from peers within the standard Genesys Cloud UI.

    The standard Presence > Presence Definition > View permission appears to be related to viewing/managing presence definitions rather than controlling visibility of other users' statuses.

    Most visibility is generally controlled indirectly through:

    • Roles/Permissions (for example restricting Analytics/Supervisor views)

    • Queue Membership & Supervisor access

    • Divisions (to limit visibility across business areas)

    From the discussions/documentation I reviewed, it also seems other customers are generally handling this more through access segmentation and visibility controls rather than a dedicated hide-status feature.

    However, I do not believe there is currently a dedicated "hide all other agent statuses" switch available today.

    Hopefully someone else from the community may have found an alternative workaround or approach for this requirement.
