    Hello,

I am currently part of a planning team to migrate a support team that utilizes SalesForce Lightening, to be integrated with Genesys using the embedded client.  This support team will be crossed trained with our exisitng tech support team so both groups can assist patients that are using different types of dialysis. Our exisitng support team utilizes SF with the embedded client.

I am hoping to discover if Genesys embedded client can support either SF Lightening and SF on the same computer for the same individual.  I know the obvious solution would be to move both teams to the same version of SF but it is not an option at this time. The concerns are that this would cause some confusion with the embedded client, with two different versions of SF in use.

Any information would be helpful.  I have read a lot of Genesys documentation but have not found the answer I am seeking.

    Thank you,

    Tina

Both versions of the client at once, on the same computer WILL cause problems - basically the backend won't know which tab/version to send updates to, so both one or none will get things like new call alerts or disconnect commands if a customer hangs up. Blended use within the org is fine, but no one user should run two copies of the CTI at once.

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply!  I appreciate you validating what I was sure would be an issue.

    Thank!
