Hi Geert,
You could use Work Plan effective dates to end the agent's Work Plan and prevent future schedules from being generated:
More details can be found in the research article:
https://help.genesys.cloud/articles/manage-work-plan-assignments/
We also have the idea in the Ideas Lab for adding an effective date to the Business and Management Units:
https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/EMPDEV-I-28
Please take a minute to review the idea, add your comments, user cases and votes.

Hello.
Frustratingly, we do this by making a note in our own calendar, and removing on the leave date. We have not found any other way around it. If anyone else has, would love to know how please.

Hi Phaneendra,
The old thread is about inactive agents in the schedule.
Our question is about agent that are active, but will become inactive in the following weeks.
Until the last data the agent needs to be planned. After the last data the agent can't be planned.

Hi Geert,
I found a similar thread that explains how inactive agents are still handled in Workforce Management:

- Contract end date.
How can the end date of an agent's contract be specified? If an agent has a contract that ends on date X, how can this be entered in Genesys Cloud so that the system takes it into account when generating a schedule?
Should we create an activity code "CONTRACT END" to remove these agents from a planning?
Or is there a better option to set the end data of a contract?
Thank you,
Geert
