You will have to have multiple drop-downs or radio buttons depending on look and selection you want to show. It all stems down to the Disabled variable in the Advanced section for the drop down. You will set tis to False to have it shown, so initially the sub-types will be true or not disabled. When you change your selection on 1, you will use the Change Action on drop-down one to set the variable of Drop-down 2 Visible. So, when something is set on 1, it will enable 2. The tricky part is having variables control which one is visible or not. That will entail setting variables based on other variables, perhaps through a custom action.

Subject: Scripting
Hello,
I am trying to build a script with a types and sub-types in a way that the sub-types visible will depend upon the type selected. For example: if we have types 1, 2, 3 and sub-types a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h
a,b,c should only be visible if type 1 is selected d,e,f should only be visible if type 2 is selected g,h should only be visible if type 3 is selected
I was told to duplicate the sub-type menu as seen in the screenshot attached but not sure what to do after that.
Does anybody has an idea on how to do that? |
