Try sending as text only through the API as SMS and not MMS. Apple devices don't usually like standard MMS many times.

I believe the new alert engine should suffice for this as it can look for waiting interactions. The other option is to use a trigger (under process automation) to trigger a workflow when the voicemail is left and run a workflow that sends SMS out to each of them. You could also edit the Voicemail Flow to watch for that ACD voicemail and run a common module or workflow with a data action to send the SMS out.

When callers leave a mesage in our critical voicemail queue during after hours, we like to send a text or pager message to on-call phones.
We tried group voicemail (send text by email) , or voicemail queue combine with Alerts (not able to set alert rules for waiting interactions). Both methods not successful.
Anyone has any suggestions?
