    Hi Community ,

    Is a genesys cloud procured number from 'sms inventory' necessary to run sms outbound campaigns?

    Or whether a sms gateway too will allow us to send 3sms outbound campaigns ?

    Yes, that is the case currently - they have to be Genesys Cloud SMS numbers until the BYOB feature comes out that allows you to bring your own broker (and beer if you choose) to Genesys Cloud.  The first will support Twilio SMS broker.  This is hopefully coming out soon.  @Katie Ritz or @Paul Lamarre is there any news on this?
