Currently it only applies to Voice Interactions in the transcript tab, but there is an idea which is due to be released soon: Mask Customer Data in Interactions > Transcript tab

Does the Data redaction settings apply to Chat/Messaging interactions. We have Sensitive Data Redaction for Payment Cards and Sensitive Data Redaction for Personal Information enabled however when viewing the chat interaction with a role which doesn't have permissions to view sensitive data we are still able to see the data.
Any input would be welcome.
