I believe your GET request is incorrect.
It needs to have the same name as the SET request.
In your example, your GET request should be named "priorityValue" and not only "priority"

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried that option and the priority did not stay with the VM. I'm not sure what may be wrong with the flow setup.

I didn't quite understand the scenario, but what if you use "set participant data" to assign priority and in the new flow use "Get Participant data" to retrieve the value from the set participant?
