Hello Santiago,
Are you using On Premises Edges, or Cloud Edges? For BYOC Premises deployments, Edges are designed to respond with a 200 OK to SIP OPTIONS messages by default, as long as the carrier's IP address is whitelisted in the "Allow the Following Addresses" setting under SIP Access Control in your External Trunk configuration. For BYOC Cloud deployments, load balancers respond to SIP OPTIONS requests appropriately once the remote IP is configured in the trunk settings. Genesys Cloud will always respond with a 200 OK provided the remote IP is whitelisted in the Genesys Cloud external trunk settings.
For BYOC Premises, if the Edge is Out of Service or the Trunk is Disabled, it should NOT return the 200 OK, which indicates to the carrier that the connection is down.
