  • 1.  SIP Trunking to VAPI.AI

    Looking to integrate with VAPI.ai to enable AI virtual agents.  This involves a SIP trunk configuration to integrate with VAPI.ai.  There isn't any detailed information regarding the proper fields for this integration.  Has anyone done this before and can offer configuration steps to transfer SIP calls to VAPI.ai?

    Hello Miguel,

    I wasn't able to find any internal info about this. I'm not sure if anyone else in the Community has done this before so hopefully if they have, they will be able to share their experience with that integration.
    In the mean time, I would recommend taking a look at this article from the Resource Center on SIP provider configuration information.

    You probably do not want to re-route the call (SIP) directly to VAPI.ai platform, but rather stream 2-channel audio ( caller & called ) to and from the VAPI.ai platform. 
    Here is a developer reference for oAI Whisper  via the Genesys Audio Connector framework that can be adapted to VAPI.ai's platform and allow you to invoke a Voice Agent on VAPI.ai .
