  • 1.  SMS - Can you prevent customer replies and how to use the SMS Short Code Number

    I  have a customer who wants to use an SMS campaign. I have built the flow and tested it and can send SMS messages to customers and the customer can respond to the message. If my customer did not want their customers to respond is there any way this can be configured. I am aware of an Opt Out option but this is purely to stop customers responding. Is it just a case of not enabling a skill and queue and therefore if the customer does reply the SMS essentially goes into a black hole ?.

    Also is there a way to show that the SMS CLI is from the customer ?.

    I would just assign a messaging flow that sends a reply that the number is not monitored and cannot be replied to.

    And with regards to the CLI is it possible to provide the customers name on the SMS instead of or in addition to the number ?

    This was in the roadmap of the webinar they had last week.

    Considering it's not in aha roadmap yet I'm guessing H1 2024 if we're lucky.
