Wanted to check with you if this is still an ongoing issue, and if you have had the chance to open up a case with Product Support?
Outside of the Community I've personally encountered another customer who had SMS issues but they experienced it earlier than you did. Right at the beginning of the new year, actually. And unfortunately it was not a Genesys issue but rather an issue with the downstream carrier seemingly blocking their SMS number. Apart from them, there's not much movement or alarms in this space.
