    Hi 

    I am trying to setup an sms number. From what I can see you can only purchase sms numbers from the list. 

    Is there a way to setup a custom number.

    Genesys did release this (https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/configure-byo-sms-for-twilio/) if you can get a number you want from Twillio you should be able to bring it in. Though, if it's from a carrier outside of that, then no. I run a telco and would have loved (and still do) to use our own numbers in the platform
