I am sorry to hear about your frustration. There are a few threads dedicated to this topic and receiving updates from PMs and the community moderator team: I think the original one is in the Beta HQ Community, but this thread in the Genesys Cloud - Main community is also receiving updates.
To keep things easy for our moderators and collaborators, I am going to close this thread.
If anyone has any issues similar to what Karl listed above, please respond to the Genesys Cloud - Main thread, especially if you have a ticket open, or feel free to message me directly.

We are now a week into the new messaging UI. Since this "well tested" functionality went in multiple clients are reporting issues with
- Copy and paste
- Lag
- Downloading images
Rather than revert the change until fixed we are being advised to send videos of the issue (why can't Genesys do this themselves!?)
I've been talking on the related thread and raised a ticket.
PM on the thread is advising to send things via the ticket. Genesys on the ticket are advising No ETA and to follow the thread.
This is embarrassing.
