  • 1.  Staffing Requirements values changing on the same forecast when reviewed later

    Posted yesterday

I made a screenshot of a Staffing Requirements view that used a forecast created & modified on June 16. The Net Required FTE for July 2026 was 16.4, I just revisited the same Staffing Requirements view, and now it is showing the Net Required FTE for July 2026 as 17.0, the forecast has not changed, the system has not changed what is going.

This is just one of the data points in this Staffing Requirements view, they have all changed.

Here is the original screen shot:

And here is the new one

    Hi Conor,

That does sound unexpected, particularly as all the data points have changed rather than just one.

Although the forecast itself has not changed, the Staffing Requirements figures are generated separately and also use information such as the planning groups, service goal templates, FTE definition and shrinkage setting.

It may be worth checking whether the "last generated" timestamp has changed, and confirming that the same planning groups, FTE definition and shrinkage percentage are selected. I would also check whether any associated service goal template or planning group configuration has been updated since the original screenshot was taken.

If all of those are exactly the same and the requirements have changed from 16.4 to 17.0 without anyone regenerating them, I think this would be worth opening a Support case for investigation. I would include both screenshots, the forecast details, the generation timestamps and an export of the current Staffing Requirements data.
