  • 1.  TF parameter for Enable Preview Auto Answer setting

    Hi Team,

    We need some clarity on auto answer parameter mentioned in Terraform configuration.

    1. Can you please check we cannot find Enable Preview Auto Answer parameter in the Terraform documentation and how this is set through state manager

    2. We cannot find auto_answer setting on the UI but is present in Terraform configuration, is it same as Enable Preview Auto Answer?

    Hi Rohit,

    I assume you're talking about the Voice/Chat/Message/Email/Callback settings for routing queues? I don't see "Enable Preview Auto Answer" anywhere in the UI. I only see "Auto Answer" which is controlled by enable_auto_answer in Terraform. 

    Could be more specific about where you see "Enable Preview Auto Answer"?

    Hi Charlie,

    This is for Outbound Campaigns, under preview dialing mode.

    genesyscloud_outbound_campaign | Resources | MyPureCloud/genesyscloud | Terraform | Terraform Registry

    • auto_answer (Boolean) The option manages the auto-answer callback calls
    • preview_time_out_seconds (Number) The number of seconds before a call will be automatically placed on a preview. A value of 0 indicates no automatic placement of calls. Only applicable to preview campaigns.

    These two params we have confusion with, auto_answer param we cannot set through terraform.

    I just confirmed that auto_answer controls the "Enable Preview Auto Answer" toggle in the UI. Both the toggle in the UI and the Terraform field control the field callbackAutoAnswer in the API request body.
