  • 1.  Time Off Message Truncated in WebRTC When Submitted Status

    We recently implemented Time Off Requests in Genesys.  When a time off request is submitted, the WebRTC does not show the status.  At first we thought the message was truncated, but I would expect to see three dots at the end "..." instead of the one dot "." indicating the end of the sentence.  This only seems to happen for submitted time off requests.  Approved request messages appear as expected.  Popping the window out to expand it does not change the message.

    The interesting part is that the Inbox in Genesys Cloud shows an entirely different message, so it's not help to compare with that either.

    Has anyone else seen this?  Are we missing something or possibly running into a bug?

    I would recommend opening a support ticket. It appears to me that that client may not be properly handling creating the message with the status (i.e., the message is not really truncated - the status is an empty character string followed by the period).
