  • 1.  Transferring to Secure Flow with Script Button

    Hi all,

I'm trying to create a script button to pass the call back to a secure flow to change the script that's presented to the agent receiving the transfer. I have the secure flow created and the script button however, when I press the button on a test call, nothing happens. I tried popping a URL using the button instead and that works fine. Is there anything I'm missing in either the script button setup or architect flow? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just checking, but do you have Inbound enabled in your Script Properties?

Also, did you test this with an inbound ACD call?

Hi Robert - Yes I did the testing with an inbound ACD call. Inbound is also enabled in the script properties. Popping a URL works fine on the inbound test all using the button. Trying to pass to a secure flow does nothing. It's like I'm not clicking the button at all.

Hi Vaun - do you mind elaborating a bit? Are you saying in order to user the invoke secure flow scripting feature, I must include InvocationData even if I'm not necessarily trying to pass any data at this point?

Maurice, do you see a popup at all anywhere when this fails?  That may indicate why it's failing.  But I'm "fairly" sure you need to pass in the InvocationData - even if there's nothing to actually process.  If nothing else then maybe you could pass in something to help with troubleshooting later as you'll see that attached if you look at the Conversation (keep that in mind from a privacy/data protection standpoint).
