  • 1.  Turn off DID prompt?

    Is there any way to turn off the prompt that plays every time a user's PureCloud DID is called by an external party? This is the one - "Please stay on the line while you are connected to..." This is making our execs unhappy because it is not a good experience for their callers. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Altaf,

     

    I asked around and that prompt is happening to give the system a chance to figure out if the incoming call is actually a fax.

     

    The second paragraph of this article talks a bit about it:

    If you do not want specific (or any) users to accept faxes to their DID, you can take away their onenumber fax permission and the prompt will go away.

    @Clay Tison? Thanks Clay, I know on premise we could offer up additional ringback while the call analysis was doing it's thing. Is there anything in the works to offer that as a PureCloud option?
