I am doing some testing with the UC - Conference Call functionality. I am noticing some interesting behavior with how a conference call treats a Fast Busy, versus how a direct call treats a Fast Busy. Here is my process:
- I dial out to my cell phone, and connect the call to establish a session.
- I then go to "add Participant" and enter a phone number.
- When I dial out to a number that is blocking my inbound call I should receive a Fast Busy. However, there is no notification for the user placing the call out that a fast busy was reached.
- **note: when I place a call out the blocked number individually, I do hear the Fast Busy.
- This user experience is lacking because the user placing the call out has no indication that a Fast Busy was reached. So, they will likely re-dial the number that is blocked a number of times
Does anyone have any understanding why a Fast Busy does not show up on a blocked call when a user trys to add that number into a UC conference call?
