  • 1.  UDP SRTP/TURN port range expansion

    the UDP port range will expand to this new range 16384-65535 from from 28th October 2024. It is not clear if with this rollout BYOC Premise edge will continue to allocate UDP STRP ports using the old range or the premise edge software will align with the range used by media services on AWS Cloud.

    Hi Alessio,

    Based on my understanding, these changes impact the Genesys Cloud where CIDR applies to the following services:
     
    - WebRTC stations
    - Polycom stations with Genesys Cloud Voice or BYOC Cloud
    - BYOC Cloud
    - ACD screen recording
    - Video chat
    - BYOC Premises Edge Appliances (utilizing WebRTC and Hybrid Media)
