  • 1.  Unable to Manually place Time Off Requests on Waitlist

    We are having an extremely difficult time managing Time Off requests via Genesys due to the following reasons:

    • No ability to have Staffing Groups for Time Off Allotments
    • No ability to assign Time Off Allotments by Hour Intervals
    • No ability to manually place requests on the waitlist

    One of our workarounds is that agents have to submit the time off request as a partial day (regardless of if they want the full day) and make sure the start and end time of the request mathces the start and end time of their scheduled shift.  This causes an issue because the duration is longer than the duration of the workplan, as the Workplan is not counting the lunch in the duration.  That would be fine except that there is currently no ability to manually place Time Off requests on Waitlist.  Does anyone know a workaround for getting the partial requests to read the correct shift duration, and not just the paid time duration?

    I have checked on the ideas portal and found an existing idea here

    It would be good if you voted and added your comments and use case to it to enable our Product team to understand your needs.

    I understand the below is not a workaround, but, if you could please upvote these ideas and add anything you think will be helpful for your business. They are all very good and it would be great to see more traction :) Thanks for your help.
