    Hi Team,

    I am trying to generate AI guide with my instructions also I have setup required variables 

    Once clicked on checker to validate script. getting below error.


    #AIConfiguration
    #AICopilot(Agent,SupervisorAdmin)
    #ArchitectandDesign
    #ConversationalAI(Bots,VirtualAgent,etc.)

    Hi Yogesh,

    I think you will need to raise a ticket with Genesys Product Support to look into this further as it looks like the feature is not enabled for your org.

    The response of the IA Orchestrator: 

    The error "The validation field requires the richer variables feature to be enabled for your organization" occurs when you're trying to configure the Requires Value property of an input component using a True/False variable, which is an advanced scripting capability.

    What this means:
    In newer versions of Genesys Cloud scripting, you can configure the Requires Value property (which determines if user input is mandatory or optional) using a True/False variable instead of just a static Yes/No setting. This dynamic capability is part of the "richer variables" feature set.

    How to resolve:
    This feature requires enablement at the organization level. To get this feature enabled, you'll need to:

    1. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) - They can help enable this feature for your organization
    2. Work with your Genesys Admin Team - They may have the ability to request feature enablement

    Workaround option:
    Until the feature is enabled, you can:

    • Use the static Requires Value property setting (Yes/No) instead of binding it to a True/False variable
    • Keep your script design simpler without the dynamic validation requirements

    Hi Yogesh,

    This error indicates that the "Richer Variables" feature is not yet enabled for your organization. This is a newer capability currently in development for AI Guides.

    To resolve:

    • Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request enablement of Virtual Agent and the richer variables feature for your org
    • Alternatively, consider using standard variable types (String, Boolean, Number, Integer) until this feature is available
