  • 1.  Unable to use spacebar in emails

    Encountering an issue on multiple orgs / users, after using Enter the space-bar is not working so you cannot put spaces in between words.  Have cases open with customer care for each org affected.  Anyone else encountering this?

    I cannot reproduce the problem you describe in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

    I found that Care is working on it along with Development. and I saw a video that showed how it happens on the third line and below, so I am able to reproduce.

    They say it is affecting all regions.

    No resolution yet.

    Hi All,

    Same issue here, to keep working until the Genesys team solve this issue that what I found:

    1- It could work if you click Enter Key to go to a new line then go back to the first line, ie if you want to type on line 3 press enter to go to line 4 then go back to line 3 again and space bar will work with you.
    2- Copy and Paste, write what you need in Notepad then copy it to Purecloud.
    3- Write the whole sentence then add space between words.

    Hope Genesys will solve this issue soon.

    It would be nice if the editor component became an integral part of PureCloud, so that keyboard shortcuts would work whereever your cursor are positioned.

    Currently it's a third-party component "safely tucked away" inside a <div>.

    Got suggested workarounds from Care in my case on this:

    - Try to use Firefox

    - Could use notepad for the meantime, you can copy everything and paste it on the reply section on Purecloud the spaces seems to be carried over just fine.

    - Changing it from Paragraph to Heading 1 seems to make the spaces work again, just change it back to Paragraph again to make the font and size back to what you originally started

    Maybe useful for u (and maybe not :))...
