  • 1.  Unique Identifier in Schedule Exports

    We have a requirement from a customer to include a unique identifier (email address or employee ID/number) in the WFM Schedule exports. Is there any way of achieving this? Currently exports just include the agents' names but no other unique identifier for each user.

    Hi James, 

    WFM schedule exports include agent names but don't have a native option to include email addresses or employee IDs. However there's already an active feature request (https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/WFMSCH-I-49) for exactly this capability!

    The request proposes adding unique identifiers (email, username, or employee ID) to WFM schedules, performance reports, and agent configuration views. This would solve the common challenge of distinguishing between agents with similar or duplicate names, especially in larger organizations.

    This feature request is on Genesys's radar and currently in "Future Consideration" status, meaning it's being evaluated for the product roadmap. Your requirement adds valuable business justification, I would recommend upvoting this idea and promoting this within the community.

    Hi James,

    Out of the box, WFM schedule exports only include the agent's display name, and there's currently no configuration to add a unique identifier like email or employee ID. If a unique ID is required, the usual workaround is to post‑process the export by mapping agent names to user details via the Genesys Cloud Users or WFM APIs (using userId to retrieve email or employee ID).

    For native support, this would depend on a product enhancement rather than configuration.
