Would that work by setting the DELETE action and choosing the actionDate to far in the future?
For example, if I previously had a delete policy on calls to delete in 6 months from now, and then I ran the below job query to DELETE these calls in year 2030, would that reset the current 6 month delete policy?
If that is the case, I tried running the below job and wasn't able to update the retention policy. Perhaps it may be better to discuss this in the developer forum...

Hi Sam - The API to export has not been released yet - coming very soon though (approx 1-2 wks) . However you can use the bulk delete API action to change the retention on your recordings.

I notice in the Jobs API that the two actions are DELETE and EXPORT. Are you suggesting I export the calls if I want to keep them and that the deletion policy cannot be changed?

I ran into this last year. The deletion is written to the Interaction based on the policy at the time of recording. They have recently exposed a bulk delete in the API to get by this limitation until something changes for reevaluating recordings. It is under Recording Jobs in the API.

Wishing you are well.
Is it possible to update the assigned retention/deletion policy on processed calls?
Previously, the requirement was to delete calls after 3 months. This has since changed and now we would like to keep these calls indefinitely.
In the interaction panel, the delete date remains. For reference, there are around 7000 calls to update.
Looking forward to your advice and feedback.
