I wanted to follow up with some additional context.
The Lakehouse Extraction API is the first delivery path for making Genesys Cloud data available through the new lakehouse architecture. Our current focus is on completing and expanding this export capability, including broader data coverage and the operational capabilities customers need to use it reliably at scale.
The longer-term direction remains to provide a Lakehouse platform that supports direct query and analytics use cases in addition to file-based extraction. This is expected to enable customers and partners to work with governed Genesys Cloud data through supported query and business intelligence patterns, without needing to build the entire extraction and storage pipeline themselves.
The precise availability timeline, supported access methods, regional rollout and commercial model for the query platform have not yet been announced. These details are still being developed and validated as the underlying platform capabilities progress. However the communications will ramp up through Q3 and Q4 this year. Please stay tuned.
For now, customers should view the Lakehouse Extraction API as the available path for exporting Lakehouse data. We will share further information through the Genesys Cloud roadmap, release notes and community channels as the direct-query capabilities move closer to availability.

Yeah Samuel, we only have this information so far 😞. I think Genesys will build the main export path complete first and then build out the platform, so it will take some time (just my guess).
