      Hello All,

    I've just heard about a new announcement that may have some impact on our ORG (you'll receive an email about this next week from Genesys, but I wanted to give you prior notice).

    Genesys is updating how web content URL widget functions within Analytics dashboards work.  Genesys will restrict these web content URLs from accessing browser cookies, local storage, and JavaScript APIs starting 18th May 2026.

     

    The prod has been identified by us as potentially being impacted by this update. Please follow the guidance here to understand what is changing and the action required.

    we need to hope it only affects the dashboard.

    If scripts are affected, many clients worldwide will experience problems.
