  • 1.  Use Agent profile Info in Signature

We have a customer who would like the ability to add their agents certifications and degree info to their Email Signature.

Being each agent would be different based on their skills obtained, we would like to be able to use the Skills & Certifications section of the Public Profile in Genesys to attach those items to a canned response being used as an email signature.  these sections would make it simple for each agent to update their info and that would be passed to a canned response.

Is there a way to grab that info and create it as a custom substitution for use with a canned response?

    Hey Chris,

I'm not aware of any way to do that out of the box but I did find this Idea in the Product Ideas Lab. I would recommend voting on that Idea and leaving a comment on how that feature would be useful to your organization.

    Jason,

Thanks for the suggestion.  While It's not what we were looking for I could see the use case for this if we ever get to a point of different languages.

I will vote on it and possibly submit my own Idea as well.

    Thanks.

    Chris

I would suggest looking at using an web service endpoint to something like LinkedIn or Credly to get the certs and encapsulate them into an HTML code that could be inserted into a signature block.  You could also use a data table to keep the creds and use a web service to retrieve and format them.
