  • 1.  VDI Media Helper and Mac w/Chrome

    Hi Genesys Community,
    First post!

    Have a prospect wanting to use a Linux distro (I think Ubuntu, but verifying) on a thin client with Chrome as their browser using Genesys Cloud VDI Media Helper. Is this supported? Are there any issues we should be aware of?

    If Chrome on that device is a true Chromium app on that device, you should be okay.  I would definitely test this against GCx and see if it directs audio for the WebRTC out the internet connection.  I assume the Chrome browser is running locally on the local machine.
