  • 1.  Visibility of the newly created Roles for new OAuth clients

    Hi,

    I'm having an issue with the visibility of the Roles when creating a new OAuth client. How does this manifest? We are creating Custom roles that include only the permissions required for the given OAuth client. After the Custom Role is created it is not visible under OAuth client for day or so. Very frustrating, though.  

    Furthermore, is there any limit on how many Roles can be presented under OAuth client (Grant Type: Client Credentials)?

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for your response. I found the same posts on the developer forums. The issue I had was related when logged to an External Org.  I was able to resolve it by adding the user under "Authorized Organizations" and assigning the roles needed/used by OAuth clients.

    The Authorized Organization is different from Oauth calls directly to the API.  It uses an already authenticated session to "tunnel" into the other org based on access and role.
