  • 1.  Voice Transcription

    Has anyone set up voice transcription?  I attempted to set it up and activate it on my organization following all the steps in the resource center documents, however i cannot seem to get it to work.  Trunks are set to record, edge devices have the proper firmware.  All other set up steps per the resource center articles ( turned on at org level, activated on the queue, etc) have been completed however when i look for a transcript it just tells me there is no transcript for the interaction. 

    Just checking if anyone has had success with this.

    Did you turn on Transcription in the Organization Settings and for each queue that is recorded?

    Hello Robert,

    I have turned transcription on at the ORG level, as well as the queue level.  As for the flow level, when following the instructions in the resource center about enabling it in the flow, i cannot locate the tool under the Audio tool bar.

    Hello Vaun,

    Thanks, i checked the policies and none that would affect the agents in the queue i am dealing with, and our ORG language is set to English.

    Yes we have Genesys Cloud 3 Licensing.  I have went over each step of setting this up using the resource center docs and based on those it Should be functional.  Is there a lag time from when call ends to when transcription is completed that you know of?

    Hello Scott,

    Do you have BYOCC or Cloud Voice? At present you cannot do this with premises Edge devices. In addition the flow language needs to be US English or US Spanish. UK and AU English should come out this week.

    Thanks, i was under the impression we had BYOCC, but found out we we actually have BYOC-Premise, which explains why i could not get it to work..Thanks everyone for all the feedback
