I don't remember exactly but there is also some logic out there that bumps up the number of votes you can cast.
I've also been told that one reason for the perceived discrepancy in what's waiting vs what gets done is separate teams of developers - some of which only ever do shiny UI stuff and nothing else. Does seem like there would be value in upskilling/cross-skilling those guys though :)
From a customer/partner viewpoint one of the selling points given to us originally in the move from Engage to Cloud was that there were "hundreds of developers" constantly improving and releasing things. I'm still waiting :)

It certainly looks that way!
I mean, look at the recent change to the Architect UI (proposed by the PM, almost no traction. Rolled out in a few months. Vs ideas with dozens of votes and comments that have been languishing for years!
It's hard not to conclude that "all votes are equal, but some are more equal than others"

In addition to 1 vote per organisation, there appears to be a weighting over the top of that, whereby votes by Genesys employees have much greater heft than those of their customers.
Apologies if that ruffles feathers but I can only go by what I see with respect to what gets delivered vs what is "popular".

The limit is tied to ideas you have actively voted on - you can un-vote for something if it gets denied by Genesys, or even ones that change to an approved/in-development status. Also if multiple people from your company vote on the same idea, it counts as one vote still - so coordinating with your peers might regain you some votes.
I tend to have the same issue of being maxed out and every few months I will go and un-vote for things that are dead or about to be released.
