Is there any news of this process changing? We have had a few customers ask about having separate controls for the voicemail and the ringing of the phones. Agents tend to no always keep their headsets on all day because it causes pressure on the head/ears. When they take them off, they can't hear the phone ringing. If they change the ringing to the computer speakers, and the USB headsets losses its connection for whatever reason, the voicemails then play over the external speaker of the computer for all to hear. Just looking for any workaround or possible solution.

Hi @Renee Martinez? I am assuming you are using WebRTC like we are.
- The easiest way to do this is to dial *86 to get into the voicemail system.
- The other thing you can do is Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar notification area.
- Click Playback Devices.
- Click the icon for your headset and then click Set Default.
The drawback to using option 2 is you will no longer hear the ringing through your computer speakers. All sound will come out through your headset. I hope PureCloud is enhanced so that the voicemail can come out of the headset without having to do the above.
