Hello @Chester_Bennington are you trying to render the avatar in our native Messenger client? Please ensure that Agent Avatar is added on the "Agent Image" tab: this is hosting the public-facing image, as opposed to "Profile Picture" tab, which is hosting the internal employee Avatar visible in Agent-UI (what you have posted above).

Hi @Angelo_Cicchitto, we are using our own messenger client with web messaging guest API. Is it still possible?

Yes, both image & name are provided at Guest API level, see example here: https://developer.genesys.cloud/commdigital/digital/webmessaging/websocketapi#outbound-message---plain-text

@Angelo_Cicchitto From the screenshot Chester provided on first post, what the reason could be that it didn't return nick name or image?
"from": { "nickname": "Agent nickname", "image": "https://url.to.agent.avatar" }

The feature needs to be manually enabled in Admin UI for your Messenger Configuration: it's available as Beta, so if you want to join Beta, please fill out the form in the corresponding Idea: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DIG-I-116
