    Hello Genesys Cloud Community.

    We are currently planning a new improvement to how Messenger handles Inbound Messages, also see this Idea for context > https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CEWMM-I-188

    With the upcoming release of Inbound Data Masking for Digital Channels, the additional processing required for message pattern detection & masking may introduce few millisecond of delay to inbound messages, see corresponding Idea here > https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/DIG-I-121

    Therefore we want to improve overall Messenger UX in a way that informs End-User about current message status, transitioning from Sending to Delivered (meaning, delivered to "brand", while being processed by GC Messaging Platform) or in some rare cases also Not Delivered. See the attached animation with a preview (you may have to click it).

    As a heads-up, this feature is being released soon. With a minor variation to labels: rather than using the Delivered label upon success, we are replacing that with Sent, to avoid ambiguity: Delivered may be interpreted as delivered to an Agent, which is not the case here.
