    Hi Everyone, 

    Does anyone know if there is some basic functionality around sending transcripts to customers after a web chat has finished? It's very important to our customers and with it lacking from the purecloud webchat system is becoming hard to swallow. 

    I thought I was hearing things like a major web chat overhaul a while ago, maybe I was dreaming? Any word on what is happening with the web chat system as a whole too?

    There is no out of the box solution to do what you mention. You could potentially retrieve the transcript if the chat was recorded and send that over, but it would require custom work on your end.

    We continue adding new functionality to web chat and have two larger changes that will be released in the near future. We are moving the administration of webchat into admin and allowing customers to control who can chat with their agents and we have also redesigned the web chat widget.

    We currently send these out manually with a copy paste into an email, but as I am sure you would know it's very time consuming. 

    Do you have any more details, sneak peaks or timeframes around the web chat enhancements?
