Hi
We use the global function to initialize and show a WebMessage overlay instance; this is configured to "Auto" Layout (Other options being "left" and "right").
Is it possible to get the overlay to fill the parent window/element?
Thanks

Hi - Having Messenger fill the entire viewport applies only to mobile browsers: is that what you're trying to address? See this previous post: https://developer.genesys.cloud/forum/t/mediaquery-used-in-web-messenger-component/16582/5

Thanks Angelo; we are happy to have the Messenger fill the entire viewport when a mobile browser is being used - I guess my question is really.. can we "force" the Messenger into a similar (Fill?) mode when used on a desktop browser?
I know that sounds "odd" (!) but we are migrating from a window (Url) based chat solution and just wanted as much of a drop-in replacement as possible for initial release.

Hi @sharpec we haven't designed Messenger for that use-case, forcing it to fill browser page in desktop mode, as the resulting UX is not ideal. You can try to test this on your environment by resizing the browser and checking viewport width breakpoints as mentioned in the previous post.
