What is the purpose for showing the Media Types column in the Queue Activity Detail performance view?

    I'm hoping that someone can share what is the purpose for enabling the "Media Types" column in the Queue Activity Detail performance view?  It seems that adding that column just shows all possible media types and not specifically the types enabled.  When I check the built-in help, it just notes a legend for all the possible media type icons.  Our agents our only supporting voice, and chat for example, and not messaging but yet the messaging icon appears.  Are the icons expected to change based on some configuration?

    Is there a purpose for this column/indicator that I'm not realizing?
