    Hi All,

    i wanted to know what OS is used in customer hardware edge solution? Can we use our own OS for maintaince or server monitoring or to install any third party apps.?

    You don't.  The Recipe will provide all you need when you boot off the USB.  You have to have EXACT hardware as described in the Recipe resource.  If you are talking about the original Edge servers, they have a Genesys-hardened Linux installed, but there is NO access to that.

    Further to Robert's reply, it's important to understand that the Edge is considered to be an appliance device. In much the same way as you would only use the management interface of a network switch, without getting involved in the underlying software, you only access / configure / program the Edge through the provided interface.
