I understand  that HTTPS is used to connect the on premise edge and Public internet. I wanted to know if we need to need access other protocols.

In the below screenshot to be precise , what protocols needs to be considered.

I understand that below are needed for connectivity:

nternet connectivity for three major purposes:

    • Synchronize the configuration of PureCloud Edge with the cloud
    • Synchronizing the status of phone calls between PureCloud Edge and cloud
    • Store call recordings.

Does all above uses only HTTPS protocl? Or

The edges do talk to the cloud over 443, but if you connect trunks, that will be over 5060 or 50601.  Same for WebRTC connections and the media ports as well.  For what you list, those should be over https.
