Hi Candace,
Unfortunately, the only way to correct this is to reload the ranking data to support the descending sort order and re-run the bid.
You can set the new bid to take effect on the same date so that future schedules use the updated Work Plan as expected.

Any help?
Well unfortunately we did a bid used the custom API to rank and it did the opposite. It assigned 10 first, then 9, then 8 and so on, giving the person listes as number 1 their last choice, their 6th choice of shifts

No, it would be the opposite way. If you were #1 for the lowest first ranking, you would get the first choice, while #400 would pick up the last options.
To clarify, I've added some examples:
- Ranking orders:
- hire date - oldest is best
- performance- higher is best
- 400, 399, 398, 397....3, 2, 1
- custom - lowest is best,
- random - lowest is best
hope this helps.

Hi Paul,
When you say lowest, you mean if I have 400 people and I list them in order of 1-400. The person listed as number 400 will get the first choice and the person list as 1 gets the last choice?
Thank you,

Hi Candace,
I see that we have missed the sort order out of the details in the Resource Centre Article:
https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/add-new-work-plan-bid/
I have requested that this document is updated to better call out and reflect the metric sort orders of:
- Ranking orders:
- hire date - oldest is best
- performance- higher is best
- custom - lowest is best,
- random - lowest is best
apologies for the confusion,
Paul

I just completed a work plan Bid using the API to insert ranking. I ranked agents from 1-10, 1 being the best 10 being the worst. When the system auto assigned the schedules based on the customer API, it awarded the schedules in reverse order. 10 receiving their best and 1 receiving there worst choice. Is this the expected result?
