  • 1.  Workforce Management Update Schedule API Issue

    Hi Everyone,

    We are facing an issue where we are unable to update the schedule via API for some employees. Here's the process we are following: Genesys Cloud Developer Center

    While it works for certain agents, it fails for others-even though they belong to the same business unit and management unit ID, and have the same set of permissions. We're trying to update an existing schedule, and it successfully updates for one employee but not for another.

    Not sure if you originally posted in the "Genesys Cloud - Developer Community" first, but that is exactly the right place. @Samuel Jillard, this specifically is a developer community question.

    Sravanika, what is the failure message? You cannot expect anyone in the community to help without something more specific. If you had raised a support ticket recently where the error you receive was a version conflict error, then that was already explained that you are attempting to update a record with a version number lower than the current one. The other thing was pointed out is that if you have 75 agents in the BU, then it is exactly one call to update all those agents schedules. The example only shows one agent, but it is not meant really to call this once per agent and certainly not for a unique schedule for each agent. If this continues to be confusing and you cannot figure it out, then I would recommend a paid PS engagement.
