Hello Joseph, thank you for your comment on this post. Based on the available documentation, there isn't currently a way to disable WebRTC audio and alert notifications for all agents at once via a global setting, unfortunately. You can contribute your idea through our idea lab link here: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/, so that it can be added to the future process.Again, thank you for your great feedback. Have a great day!
Is there any way to globally Change the WebRTC phone settings for all agents in GC as well in the sales force embedded Client?
Hello David, thank you for your comment. I am sorry for your inconvenience but I am glad that the mentioned customers are now able to use the framework properly, also thank you for your support in engaging with the developer case. We will update more feature releases via TAM Studio, and appreciate your feedback. Have a great day!
After the October 7th release of the embedded framework, the new option was not present for some customers, but the behavior reflected the update as they were forced to run Genesys Cloud in another Edge browser tab so that they could answers calls in the embedded client. Genesys support was unable to provide direction on how to verify that the embedded framework client was updated in Salesforce. I was told to open a developer case and that the option will not appear until 3rd party developers enable it in the framework.js (which is not true) and there is no Genesys documentation to support this. Magically after the November 11th embedded framework client release, the option now appears for the affected clients.
