User Management admin page Improvements – Before & After Overview
This document provides a before-and-after comparison of the User Management / Users (People admin page), highlighting recent accessibility improvements.
The updates focus on enhanced readability, a clearer visual hierarchy, improved contrast, and more consistent interaction patterns. We have also placed special emphasis on improving workflows to make the page easier to navigate and more inclusive for all admin users, while maintaining its original functionality and overall user experience.
There are no changes to users outside of admins e.g. to the Agent Workspace.
Release Timeline
The updated User Management/Users (People admin page) is in Beta now with a selected list of customers and expected to go live starting May 18 (tentative), following the standard Genesys Cloud regional release schedule. As with all releases, availability may vary by region.

After careful analysis of the feedback received so far, Genesys has decided to postpone the GA release of the User Management / Users (formerly People) admin page until all identified bugs and regressions have been addressed.
We appreciate the detailed feedback shared by customers and partners, which has helped us identify areas requiring improvement before general availability. Our teams are actively reviewing and prioritizing the reported issues to ensure the new experience meets expected usability and quality standards.

Hi, Please can you confirm the date. Once confirmed, update the Genesys Cloud Announcements (UI updates for the People configuration and settings pages), as the Genesys Community is not considered the official channel for announcing changes. Thanks Paul
Hello Zoltan, when you want to edit a user’s role assignment and you are using Cloud CX in German, the design reaches its limits. Two arrows are displayed that slightly shift the view. If I now want to search for a specific role from a list, I don’t have the possibility to see the role name and the activation status of the role at the same time. From my point of view, the fields for “Group inheritance” and “Not used” are too large, which results in this impractical layout.
Hello, Is there any impact on the API api/v2/users/search (post , expand = authorization) ? Because we have the beta on one of our org and on this one we canont retreive the roles. The same request on other orgs give the right result.
I've started looking at the new user management page. The overall view seems interesting and more practical, but I think it's a shame you didn't take the opportunity to introduce a filter in the user details section to display only the queues assigned and/or authorised to them. Currently, you still need to browse through X pages to find which queues are assigned to them. Is this planned for a future release?
